The effects of AO for over 2 million veterans will never end.
The man who ordered the spraying of AO was Admiral Zumwalt, (who died in 2000 at age 79) was Chief of Naval Operations. His son served in Vietnam as a patrol boot commander during the spraying , he later died of Lymphoma and Hodgkin’s disease in 1988, at age 42.
